If a victim of a sex crime is injured, even if the sexual assault was only attempted, charges of injury such as rape can be applied under the Punishment of Sexual Violence Act.

The police plan to consider holding a personal information disclosure committee after determining whether Choi’s crime meets the requirements for disclosing personal information.
