The Gyeonggi-do Basketball Association (Chairman Lee Jong-seok) held the ’27th Gyeonggi-do Governor’s Sports Basketball Tournament’ in Gimpo-si, Gyeonggi-do on the 10th. This competition, which is held as a city-county competition, is a life sports basketball competition representing Gyeonggi-do, and the size of the participating teams is also extraordinary. A total of 75 teams visited Gimpo, including youth divisions, middle school divisions (1st and 2nd divisions), high school divisions (1st and 2nd divisions), and university divisions.
This Gyeonggi-do Governor’s Life Sports Basketball Tournament will be held in the form of group preliminaries and final tournaments in a 5-to-5 ratio for youth and university divisions, and 3×3 for middle and high school divisions.
Each participating city/gun team receives participation points (10 points) when participating in all categories, and receives 30 points (championship), 10 points (runner-up), and 5 points (3rd place) depending on their performance. The final rankings are determined based on the results, and an awards ceremony is held.
